What stays with you as the employer
Outsourcing moves the work, not the legal responsibility. As the employer you remain responsible for paying CPF on time (by the 14th of the following month), for the accuracy of employee income submitted to IRAS, and for personal data under the PDPA. Under the PDPA, your payroll provider acts as a data intermediary, so you should have a written agreement covering how it protects and retains your data. We provide one as standard.
Payroll Outsourcing: frequently asked questions
What does Avelogic's payroll outsourcing include?
Monthly salary and overtime calculation, CPF, SDL and self-help group funds, GIRO bank files, MOM itemised payslips, and year-end IRAS submission including IR21 for departing foreign employees, with a dedicated consultant.
Do I still need to pay CPF myself?
Your company releases the payment, and remains legally responsible for it. We prepare the calculations and submission file so you can pay on time.
Is my salary data confidential?
Yes. Payroll runs on HRKaki, which stores data in Singapore with encryption, two-factor admin login and audit logging. We also sign a data protection agreement as your data intermediary under the PDPA.
Can I switch from outsourcing to running payroll myself later?
Yes. Because outsourcing runs on HRKaki, you can take over the same system at any time with all your history in place.
