Built for MOE's 2026 rules on phones in school
From January 2026, secondary school students may not use smartphones or smartwatches at any time during school hours, including recess, CCAs and supplementary or enrichment lessons. MOE asks schools to keep devices in designated storage such as lockers, or in school bags. Each school sets its own arrangements, and many have found that collecting, storing and returning phones every day takes real teacher time.
The Avelogic Phone Locker is designed for exactly that routine. Read our guide to phone storage options under MOE's rules for a comparison of lockers, collection bags and other approaches.
Why a keyless locker
- No keys to lose or lend. Each session has its own 6-digit OTP, held by the teacher in the app.
- No single keyholder. Any authorised teacher can open it, so a late or absent form teacher doesn't hold up dismissal.
- Instant accountability. Numbered slots match class register numbers, so an empty slot is obvious.
- Phones stay safe. Curved dividers keep each phone upright and stop them scratching each other.
- Fits any classroom. Carry it by the handle between blocks, or mount it on the wall.
